Saba Heravi, 2021
Country:Iran / Canada
Residency period: April 30 – May 30, 2021
Presentation: Thursday, July 22, 2021, 5 pm
Residency project:“For my residency at Atelier Circulaire, I plan to explore printing on clay. I am sourcing the images for printing from my grandparents’ house, as it is based on all of my childhood memories. With the clay being thin and delicate, I intend to present our memories’ fragility and show how their objectiveness can easily shatter. I would like to use screen printing and intaglio to print on clay, and explore different methods of printing and various clays. I want to understand which method and material are effective in terms of development and give the most impact in creating this body of work.”
