Residency projet : “As part of my residency at Atelier Circulaire, I wish to establish a dialogue between screen-printing and light projection, in order to reflect on the thresholds of visibility from a feminist perspective. My research is interested in the dissolution of memories, in memory as fluid documentation. ”
Bio: Charline Dally (Courcouronnes, 1994) lives between France and the unceded territories of Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal. Her practice combines analog video signals, computer generated imagery, glass and textile through films, installations, and performances. Graduated from Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains and UQAM in visual arts, she has realized artistic residencies at Signal Culture (Owego, NY) and the Society for Technological Arts (Montreal). She has presented her work in numerous exhibition spaces and festivals, including MOCA (Toronto), MAJ (Joliette, QC), FIFA (Montréal), Ann Arbor Film Festival (Ann Arbor, MI), FNC (Montréal), VIFF (Vancouver), CTM Festival (Berlin), MUTEK (Montréal and Barcelone), BISFF (Beijing), OMAF (Séoul), Les Abattoirs (Toulouse).
