Born and based in Montreal, Ariane is a visual artist. She holds a bachelor in Fashion Design from UQAM (2011). In 2010, she completed an internship at the Opéra National de Paris, Palais Garnier, where she acquired the techniques of classical and contemporary dance garments. There she learned, among other things, the dyeing process, patina and finishing of fabrics. These new notions confirmed her interest in textile embellishment. Since October 2020, she is a member of the artiste centre, Atelier Circulaire, where she is continuing her research in fiber-printed arts, which began during a college diploma in design and textile printing at Cégep du Vieux Montréal (2018). To this day, she divides her time between creating expressive works and designing costumes.
