After a one-month residency at Atelier Circulaire, Ron Siu will present the results of his research on Friday, October 22, at space 517.

His experiments in risography, screen-printing and monotypes have led him to continue his reflections on the creation of a series of works whose imagery is influenced by Japanese gay graphic novels and Chinese visions of the afterlife.

Ron Siu is an artist based in Toronto. A graduate of OCAD University, his work has been exhibited in several shows in Canada and the UK. He uses a variety of techniques (painting, drawing, printmaking) to explore themes from Romanticism and Art History from a queer and intersectional perspective.
