I am grateful that art has always been a part of my life. I used to make art when I was younger, and then stopped for a long time, but Art waited. I completed a B.F.A. in Painting and Drawing at Concordia University in 2012, and have worked steadily producing images over the years. We often hear the questions “What is art? Why make art?”, but in my experience the question I ask myself is “Who is Art?”.
My work is the result of an appreciation of nature and humanity, and wanting to express sentiments through my interest in various printmaking techniques, and painting. I draw inspiration from daily life, companionship, tranquility, solitude, gratitude and nature.
Some of my work can be found in the collection of prints at the Bibliotèque et Achives nationales du Québec (BAnQ).
