A graduate of the Literary Studies at UQAM (1997), Dominique Choquette is inspired not only by words but also by her numerous travels. She also worked at the Fondation Paul Gérin-Lajoie for several years in Africa and the Caribbean on educational projects, and during this time, she obtained a Master's degree in International Communications from UQAM (2008).

In addition to painting, lithography has now become one of her favorite techniques since 2023; she has developed a true passion for stone and printing processes. Printmaking amplifies creative possibilities, and she immerses herself in it to deepen her identity as an artist.
