Member of Atelier Circulaire since 2023, Jean-François Pinsonneault now devotes a large part of his artistic practice to printmaking, particularly lithography, intaglio, and digital drawing, combining photography.

His work is influenced by the pictorial language of landscapes, particularly forests, trees, and bark. Faced with the raw material formed by burls and frost, texture and gesture multiply, reverse, and transform in original prints enhanced with colored dry pigments. He maintains a unique relationship and representation of the material, exploring colors, shapes, and textures.

Rooted in history, forests bear witness to our land's past and profoundly influence our future. When they burn, a part of us is lost and transformed forever.
