Atelier Circulaire is pleased to invite you to a conversation with our residents Saba Heravi and Charline Dally on Thursday, July 22, 5pm at suite 517.

Each of them presents their residency project on the dissolution of memory.

Iranian artist Saba Heravi talks about identity, migration, and the reminiscence of a cultural heritage through the printing images of family archives on a sheet of clay. Her tactile artworks, accompanied by soundtracks, are of a porous materiality that expresses the fragility of memory.

In a subtle play of moiré texture and distorted text, Charline Dally mixes printing with light projection in order to explore the notion of threshold of visibility from a feminist and her personal perspective. Her research has led her to experiment with digital printing on silk and screen printing on reflective materials.

The event will be in French and English.
