Marye Claude is above all a passionate explorer, very sensitive and with varied interests.
As a multidisciplinary artist, her mainly self-taught career leads her to writing as well as to the performing arts - singing, dancing, drama - as well as to the visual arts; drawing, ink, watercolor, collage, modeling, photography, painting and printmaking.
For several years, she has decided to focus more on the visual arts and make it her main profession. She continues with enthusiasm to refine her mastery of traditional and alternative techniques of painting, printing and photography, in particular with the help of specialized training.
She draws her inspiration from both the beauty and the torments of humans and nature; themes that touch her deeply. She also likes to play in an abstract way with shapes, colors, textures, transparency-opacity dualities, whose surprising infinity of possible combinations never ceases to amaze her.
