Atelier Circulaire organizes annual residency exchanges in partnership with various printmaking centers across Canada and around the world. These exchanges are designed to offer artists the opportunity to enrich their practice through new creative environments and inspiring encounters.
Since 2025, a partnership has been established with the Gwangju Museum of Art in South Korea. This collaboration has already led to the hosting of two Korean artists in Montreal, and the first open call is now underway for two Montreal-based artists to take part in a residency in Gwangju in the winter of 2026, thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
In addition, Atelier Circulaire continues to renew its long-standing exchange programs with Open Studio in Toronto and Fyns Grafiske Værksted in Denmark, both active since 2016.
Only members with an annual rental package or the Plein Cercle option are eligible to apply for residency exchanges.
