Her work has always told a multi layered story even though she uses abstract art forms such as non figurative visual art and, previously, dance. This life long story has been an endless quest to express the relationships between the human body, the natural world, and the landscape we inhabit.
For the past fifteen years she's been using the print media (etching/ collagraphy/ lithography) as central to her artistic output. Despite technical hurdles, printmaking continues to fascinate her with its infinite possibilities and frequent accidental magical results. Her work on each printing plate to produce an image worthy of itself but then she uses the printed image as a springboard for an installation rather than as an end in itself. The prints that she chooses to keep as purely two dimensional works are labeled as variations on a theme because they are neither an edition nor are they monotypes.
